Yuto Horigome, a young boy from Tokyo, Japan, has had a dream and passion for skateboarding since he was very young. Fueled by his father's encouragement, he worked his way up to the top of the competition in both Japan and the United States while still a teenager. He has achieved many accomplishments, such as winning first place at the 2018 SLS competition, which secured him three titles, becoming the winner of the X Games, and winning the SLS Los Angeles Stop in 2019. He is also the first Japanese person to become the champion of the Tampa Pro, which is the oldest competition in the sport. In 2024, he made headlines once again by winning a gold medal at the Olympics in Paris, France, marking his third Olympic title. Once again, Seiko 5 Sports and Yuto Horigome have collaborated to design a beautiful watch, the Seiko 5 Sports Yuto Horigome Limited Edition. This follows two previous models designed with Horigome, namely the SRPJ39K and SRPJ37K, which are twin pairs featuring camouflage patterns, as well as the SSK027K, which showcases a unique color combination of purple, black, and blue. The watch features a transparent case back with a brown film coating that matches the colors of the dial. It includes the Yuto Horigome logo, which has a feather design, printed along with a number indicating its limited-edition. It comes with a black crocodile-patterned leather strap (made from calfskin) that perfectly complements the case.
